BELIEVE was more than a high school—it was the place where I discovered my purpose. During my time there, I found my passion for healthcare, grew as a leader, and built lifelong relationships with teachers and classmates who believed in me. Through challenging academics, hands-on learning, and unwavering support, I gained the confidence and resilience to pursue goals I once thought were out of reach.
My experiences at BELIEVE also shaped my college and career journey. I initially planned to become a pharmacist, and earning my Pharmacy Technician certification reinforced that goal. But because I graduated high school with my Associate’s degree, I entered college with the flexibility to explore new interests without falling behind. That freedom led me to discover my passion for public health.
Today, I am a rising senior at Xavier University of Louisiana majoring in Public Health with concentrations in Sociology and Theology, and I plan to earn my Master of Public Health. BELIEVE gave me the foundation to pursue my purpose with confidence while graduating ahead academically.
When I left BELIEVE, I graduated with more than a diploma. I earned an Associate’s degree, became a Certified Pharmacy Technician, and developed the leadership, confidence, and determination that continue to guide me today.
To me, legacy is measured by the lives you impact and the opportunities you create for others. I hope my journey inspires future BELIEVE students to embrace every opportunity, believe in their potential, and use their success to uplift those around them.
